This is a plain-language template describing how the site actually works today. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney, and it is not legal advice. The points listed at the end are the ones that need a lawyer's eye before this page can be treated as final.
What this covers
This describes what happens to information you give Clark Aviation Marketing LLC through this website: the live visibility check and the audit request form. It describes the site as it actually works today.
What we collect, and when
When you run the live check, you give us your name, your school's name and type, your email, your location (state, and city where we have a city list), and optionally your website. We also record the result of the check and an identifier for the archived answers.
When you request an audit, you give us your name, your school's name, your email, your location, and optionally your website, plus anything you write to us.
Automatically, our hosting provider records ordinary server logs (including your IP address) for each request, and we count checks per IP address so the free demo cannot be used without limit. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics or tracking scripts of our own.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. Your school's name is matched against our verified dataset on our own servers; it is never included in the questions we send to the AI model. The questions we send contain only a location and a school type. The archived answers we keep contain no contact details.
Who else processes it
- Vercel — hosting, server logs, and the storage where archived answers are kept.
- Upstash (Redis) — the rate-limit counters and a backup copy of enquiries, so a message is not lost if email fails.
- Resend — sending the results email to you and the notification to us.
- Anthropic — answers the questions the check asks. It receives the questions, not you.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the bot check on both forms. It sees the request and may set a cookie of its own.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and the details you send stay in our email and in the backup store until we no longer need them for the work you asked about. The backup store holds the most recent 1,000 entries. Archived answers from the live check are kept so any number we show you can be traced back to the answer it came from; our policy rotates those after 180 days, and that rotation has not been switched on yet. Server logs are kept by our host for 30 days.
Your choices
Write to contact@clarkaviationmarketing.com and ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. If you ask us to delete everything, we keep only what we must to know that you asked.
Children
This site is for flight-school operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions: contact@clarkaviationmarketing.com.
To confirm with counsel
- Whether a CCPA/CPRA notice and a “Do not sell or share” statement are required for this business, and the disclosures that go with them
- Whether GDPR/UK GDPR applies to any visitors, and if so the lawful basis, the rights section and an international-transfer clause
- The legal entity name and registered address to publish as the data controller
- The retention periods below, once the transcript rotation policy is switched on
- Whether the sub-processors listed need a formal data-processing agreement on file
